Privacy Policy
Effective July 26, 2026
We are a furniture refinishing workshop, not a data business. We collect what we need to answer you and quote your work, and nothing we cannot justify.
This page covers albertosrefinishing.com. Reading it collects nothing — there is no account, no login, and no database behind these pages.
What we collect, and when
Only when you contact us. That means the chat window, the contact page, or an email or phone call. If you do none of those, we have nothing about you.
- Your name and how to reach you — so we can reply.
- Photos of your furniture — so we can identify the piece and quote it without a site visit.
- What you tell us about the piece — its history, condition, and what you want done. This is the substance of the work.
Where it goes
The chat window on this site is our enquiry system, hosted at provenanceproject.app. When you send an enquiry through it, your message goes there — which means our full privacy policy covers what happens next, including which services process it and how advertising measurement works.
We would rather point you at one accurate page than keep two that slowly drift apart.
Cookies on this site
These pages set no advertising or analytics cookies. The chat window may set what it needs to keep your conversation going if you refresh — and if advertising measurement is active, it will ask you before setting anything for that purpose.
Photographs of your furniture
We photograph work for our own records. We will not publish photographs of your piece without your permission, which we ask for separately. Declining does not affect your estimate, your price, or your place in our schedule.
Removing your information
Email [email protected] and we will show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. There is no form and no account to create — a person reads it and replies.
Changes
If we change what we collect or where it goes, we update this page and the date at the top. Changes are not applied retroactively to information already collected under an older version.
See also our Terms of Service.
Workshop and record
Two names, one piece of furniture.
Alberto's Furniture Refinishing is the workshop. It is where the stripping, the repair and the finishing happen, by hand, and where you book the work.
Provenance Project is the record. It is our second site, and it holds the documented history of a piece — photographs, what the piece is, the condition it was in, and what we did to it. The record travels with the furniture, so the next owner, an heir, or an adjuster does not have to take anyone's word for it.
You never have to go looking for it. Ask for an estimate right here, and if the piece comes into the shop its record is built as the work happens — same workshop, same people, kept on provenanceproject.app so it outlives any one invoice.
